Case Study: P-3 Visa – Culturally Unique Artist or Entertainer

Adunni and Nefertiti are an all female singing group from Nigeria that performs folk and traditional songs.  They were invited to Los Angeles by the non-profit LA Commons to conduct a series of workshops and perform at the Skirball Cultural Center and the John Anson Ford Theater among other venues. The members of Adunni and Nefertiti were able to obtain P-3 visas as part of a group, “to develop, interpret, represent, teach, or coach in a program that is considered culturally unique.”
